These terms govern the use of the website appliedsoftwaregroupllc.com, run by Applied Software Group LLC of Niles, Illinois ("we", "us"). By using the website you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the website.
What the website is
The website presents our company and its services, carries our blog, and offers an AI assistant that answers questions about us. It takes no orders, holds no accounts and processes no payments. A request sent through the Contact page is an enquiry, not an order; any work we do for you is agreed in a separate written agreement.
The AI assistant
The assistant answers from a description of our company and services that we maintain. Its answers are produced automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. They are information, not advice, and not an offer or a quotation; nothing the assistant says binds us. Use the assistant for questions about our company and services only, and do not type into it anything you must keep confidential.
The blog and the texts
The articles on the blog describe our own work and opinions at the time of writing. They are provided for information and may become outdated; we are not responsible for decisions taken on their basis. The texts, pictures and code samples on the website are ours, or used with permission, and are protected by copyright. You may quote short passages with a link to the source; copying an article or a page in full, or using our name or logo, needs our written consent.
Acceptable use
You may not use the website to send abusive, unlawful or misleading content, to probe or attack the website or the services behind it, to send automated requests beyond what a normal visit needs, or to collect information about other visitors. We may block access that breaks these rules.
Links to other sites
The website links to other sites, among them our products and our LinkedIn page. Those sites have their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their content.
No warranty and limited liability
The website is provided as it is. We do not promise that it is free of errors or always available, and we may change or withdraw any part of it at any time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using the website or relying on its contents, including the assistant's answers. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
